I am working on a new hypothesis on universal expansion, but need to know one basic answer first. Is the universe expanding uniformly?

Current mainstream consensus is that the universe is currently undergoing uniform accelerated expansion in accordance with the Standard Cosmological Model. Refer to here. More info here.

There are some murmurs however that anisotropic expansion may be a possibility but this would throw a spanner in the works for the current accepted model. These murmurs however have yet to be convince the mainstream scientific community. For example here.

PS Just a hint. Before you commence with a hypothesis of your own it might be a good idea to see what the scientific community have to offer.....not to put you off at all...../tic
