    I've said it before and I'll say it again. We are living in a house of cards and this type event will hurt us more than anybody currently thinks. But I would like know how others feel about it.

    Two years ago, an intense solar storm narrowly missed Earth. If it had hit, researchers say, we could still be picking up the pieces.
