If yo travel in a straight line, i have heard one theory suggesting that you would end up back where you started again. How is this possible? Does space "repeat" itself ?

i suppose it could happen but only in a infinite circle and then it would be impossibl, hey look, i just contradicted my self, oh well, i say it's impossible except under the conditions of an infinite circle
its thought that our universe is bent around in a 4D sphere, its like if you walk in a straight line on earth
that's where my infinite circle comes in (kind'a) but if you can't walk in a straight line on earth because the velocity is constantly changing (direction)
If you move in a straight line you won't end up anywhere, the milky way would have long ago sodded off and you would have rotted long ago -
Myth busted! :-D :-D
The idea was, if space was highly curved and you traveled in a straight line you'd eventually return to your starting location.
Measurements have shown however, that space is very nearly flat and this shouldn't be possible.
