what i dont get is why all the planets in our solar sytem and it appears the entire galaxy go round the star the same way, and on new planets in other stars go round theres the same way, there isnt a star wich goes has loads of diferent orbiting planets, like a chococlate orange lineage if you see what i mean??

i think its proof that either a) the big bang, banged more sideways than up and down and / or b) "space" is a thing and there is a north and south to space meaning there is a top and bottom just so far away that we cannot possbily comprehend it and no telescope will ever find it. or c) the universe is a ball the big bang happened in the centre and blew outwards and the gravity of the "ball" pulls everything in the same motion so every planet will go round there sun the same way or at least the same level, like ours in the middle basicly. d) and this is the most freakish part and completley sci fi so ignore it if you like lol, that because it shows north and south are forever in the universe and every star system is the same in means that every planet in the system will go round the same way horizontally not 1 vertical 1 horizontal 1 diagonal etc, then does this mean that like i said before space has a top and a bottom and like ive always thought that the big bang had to happen somewhere, the gasses had to come from somewhere, physics tells us that nothing appears from thin air, something in space created the first gases,

So is it possible and i am completely going for broke here, that we are infact "in " something, space is actually a place somewhere. and we are mere tiny tiny things, because size i feel is not the same universal, who is to say other humanoid life will be the same size as us, if there planet is double the size and mass could they be double the size or even giants?? this is a completelt random thread and i hope somecan awash if they want with the sci fi stuff and explain why north and south is firstly through out our solar system but also the galaxy. also i am not a sun expert but is the sun more powerful at any particular side. and has anyone ever seen with a probe or satelite the bottom or top of our sun>???

This is very confused. Solar systems form when a gas cloud collapses gravitationally, as the cloud gets smaller it will begin spinning faster and faster as it collapses due to the conservation of angular momentum. It is this angular momentum that determines the direction of rotation around a star nothing to do with the directionality of the big bang at all.

Not every galaxy has stars that travel around in the same direction or near the same plane. Elliptical galaxies have a much wider distribution of star orbits.

If there were some type of directionality to the universe, you would also expect those galaxies that do have stars that orbit in a plane to all be aligned with each other, and they are not. They are tilted at all angles to each other. In fact, our own solar system is tilted by some 60 degrees to the plane of the galaxy.

As pointed out by PhDemon, angular momentum is what tends to cause this plane like rotation. To put it simply, the original dust and gas cloud that formed the solar system was made up of stuff that had all kinds of orbits. As the cloud collapsed, interactions between this stuff tended to cancel almost all of these different angular momemtums until everything was rotating in moe or less the same way. The direction this ended up being just depended what was left over after everything else canceled out.
