I believe the earth and all the inner planets once orbited jupiter before eventually getting pulled away from jupiter and into the sun's orbit

also i think we should reclass our planets

    jupiter saturn uranus and neptune
shouldnt be in the same class as earth and other rocky planets

i think rocky planets asteroids and moons should all be in the same class

    Oh good.
Just exactly what we need more of in this sub-section of a science forum - unsupported belief.
    Why do you believe this?
    On what evidence?

also i think we should reclass our planets
    Why?

    jupiter saturn uranus and neptune
shouldnt be in the same class as earth and other rocky planets
i think rocky planets asteroids and moons should all be in the same class
And the logical, scientific reasons for this reclassification would be... what, exactly?

Why don't we reclassify them alphabetically?
Or maybe by what colour crayon the majority of 5 year olds choose for each when given a colouring book of astronomy.

because gas giants were made first and are made totally different from the inner planet the inner planets were made from the debri of the gas masses

the inner planets, moons and asteroids were all made after the gas masses from the gas masses left over debris

Please provide evidence for that claim.
It's certainly NOT what that video says.

And also please answer the questions from my last post, namely:

So - you are proposing that gas giants be classified differently to terrestrial planets?

    Ok.

How about we classify gas giants as...erm...gas giants?
And we could classify terrestrial planets...hmm...perhaps...Oh, I know! We could classify them as terrestrial planets!

so wiki articles and youtube documentaries are not valid sources here
    yea ok figures

and if you know bout planet formation and graviton you would understand why earth orbited jupiter at first

cool but they both are classified as planets
    which differ from moons

and moons and terrestrial planets are closer together in characteristic and origin
    than
    terrestrial planets and gas giants

    Um, not what I said.
Try reading it again: It's certainly NOT what that video says.

The linked video DOES NOT support what you are claiming.

and if you know bout planet formation and graviton you would understand why earth orbited jupiter at first
    Bullshit.
An empty claim remains an empty claim until supported.

oh okay so basically we should just call them other things because you think it should be that way.

So you believe the inner planets once orbited Jupiter, which in turn orbited the sun, right ?

    Evidence?

What do you base this belief on?

What was the cause of the re-arrangement of orbits?

Right. So then, what would the orbital parameters ( inclination, longitude of ascending node, argument of periapsis, eccentricity, semimajor axis, mean anomaly ) of the earth have been ? Can you show us that such an orbit is stable ?
How and why exactly came the earth to orbit the sun instead of Jupiter ?

Oh I forgot - show us the radial velocity equation of the supposed orbits, and provide a proof that such orbits conserve angular momentum and total energy.

Oooh. Is this one of those games where you have to say a word with no possible connection to the previous one? I love those!

Words with no possible connection to each other?
Easy "any post by Dr. Blueprint" and "science".

Uh-huh. I asked you very specific questions, and in turn all you do is throw out random, completely unrelated words. This shows me the following :

    1. You really have no idea about orbital mechanics - in fact I am pretty sure you don't even understand my questions
    2. Because you don't know the orbital parameters of the configuration you are proposing you have no way to tell if such orbits are stable, or even physically possible
    4. You have not presented any evidence whatsoever that such an event ever took place. Not surprising, since there is no such evidence.
    3. Therefore this entire thing is based on personal beliefs, rather than on science.

Since this is a science forum, and you have no science to present, I suggest you take your YouTube-nonsense elsewhere instead of spamming this forum and wasting our time. There are more than enough self-deluded fools without the first clue about science here already, even without people like you.

I think youtube needs a science panel to screen its content. It's absurd that gullible kids can be inundated with such crap.
Set youtube up like the forums here:
    Funny videos
    Science videos
    pseudo-science wacko videos
    Instructional videos...
So on. That way, you can go right to where you want to be. And you know what you are going to get.

Nice idea, but it would suffer the same problem we do here. No one thinks their own personal theory is wacko psuedo-science. They all think they have made a serious breakthrough ("if only you could understand").

I have never got one of them to comment on the fact there are a near infinite number of other ridiculous theories (or even acknowledge they exist).

So unless you had a team of highly expert moderators (and it would have to be a HUGE team, given the amount of shit stuff uploaded very day) ...

I think the OP is insinuating that the Earth and Jupiter got a divorce.

Actually, I like to think that Jupiter bullied the Earth with it's massive size. Either that, or a potato intervened with its star-ship.
