    is it true that The milky way and ​ the Andromeda are going to collide???
    if so what will happen to the earth and the other planets around the sun????

    Yes, it is likely. Will not happen for quite some time, there are more immediate problems, rest assured. Will humanity have changed out of all recognition in a few billion years? We can only hope.

    Sure, in a few billion years, by which time the sun will have died. And all it would do (if humanity still could live on earth) would be a spectacular sky!!

    When the galaxies collide, it is highly unlikely that any star system will be seriously affected. Each galaxy is mostly empty space.

    So far little cause for alarm. By this time of collision, we may have perished or risen to Kardashev level III and be in need of more stars anyway.
