    Alien cloaked vessel - undetectable?

Might an alien vessel be in orbit, but with a cloaking device i.e. diverting E-M radiation? However could one still detect it, by it's mass imprint on our gravitational field? For example, analogously would an inspiriling mass near a black hole, perturb and 'drag' an impression on the gravitational field i.e. curvature change?

Detect from where? From Earth, no, too much unaccountable "noise" from masses shifting around. Tides slosh, cats walk past the apparatus, even rainclouds overhead are significantly massive.

Huh!? I am majorly confused as to what this topic is about and what people in this topic are talking about.

Well i think we would detect the gravity increase, but to have an effect i think it would have to be a large mother ship, like big, big.

for us to detect it the size of the spaceship would have to be really large. Or else the effect of gravity would be almost meaningless!
