Well, the Orion project is being delayed due to budget cuts. I watched a German story about it that said when the Shuttle is retired there will be a five year gap before a U.S. spacecraft becomes available to service the ISS. NASA plans on using ‘commercial’ capacity.
My backyard catapult is at their service.
