I just saw this film last night. I haven't laughed so hard since Shaun of the Dead, but I have a twisted sense of humor.

And that's really the question: was it meant to be funny? I mean, surely the part about screwing chickens was suppose to be funny?

All I can say is that I enjoyed it. It's the first film I've seen in six months that I actually think was worth my money.

Nudity, sex, violence, drugs, dead bodies, nude dead bodies, etc; are all in this film. If you don't want to see someone get shot in the head (I count at least 35 people who got shot in the head) then don't see this movie.

Tooty-f'ing-fruity is my new catch phrase.

Yeah, I want to see it, but don't go to the movies much anymore. Will probably wait till it comes out on video. Glad to hear my first review though. Was hoping it would be good.

P.S. Have you ever seen "Happy Accidents" with Marisa Tomei and Vincent D'Onofrio?

I have ages to wait before this movie is realised in the UK. It does look and nice and dark, and to find out that it matches the comedy genius ‘Shaun of the Dead’ it’s got to be seen.

In the terms of the number of times that I burst out laughing? Yes, it matches Shaun of the Dead. But would I own this movie on DVD? No. I would be embarassed if someone saw this movie on my shelf (And I have every episode of Farscape on DVD). But if I did own it, it would be a movie that I'd play drinking games to.

Black comedy makes sense. Cause I laughed when a picture got stapled to someones chest.

That’s nothing, I own ‘Spiderman’!! I trust you would buy/have ‘Shaun of the Dead’?
Black comedy is certainly becoming bigger in the movies business these days. I say bring it on!

I own the American version of Shaun of the Dead. I don't own the British version with its fancy two-discs and tons of extras.

Did I mention that The Devil's Rejects has a shootout scene to the tune of Freebird by Lynard Skynard? It's great. Not to mention the opening scenes which were played to the tune of Willie Nelson's Midnight Rider. The whole soundtrack to the movie is great.
