I have a few questions: how many of you are seriously interested in art? How did you come to this? What prompted you to do this?
If we take into account all the statistics and stories of famous artists, then there is a tendency that the most famous figures now - were far from being recognized in their time.
And here is the question: is this trend supported now?And what can be called art in general? And can something Not be called art?

I am not sure it is true that artists have generally not been recognised in their time. For much of history, art was produced by known artists, chosen and commissioned by wealthy patrons or the church. It sounds as if you are repeating the c.19th Romantic myth of the struggling, impoverished artist, in a garret somewhere. I suspect that is mostly nonsense.

I think perhaps an artist sees or hears something and creates an object that transmits to his entourage what he was feeling about it or something else at the time.

Some people are closed books and so is some /most art I would guess.

I am not sure it is true that artists have generally not been recognised in their time. If you are talking about the Renaissance and the Middle Ages, then yes, there were patrons and so on. But if we take the last century, then not everyone could find someone who would promote true masterpieces, and the creators died in poverty, and only decades later were recognized by the public, or after death.
