A fantastic free internet radio station. All you do is put in the name of your favourite band and it will play music which it thinks is similar. I have already found three brilliant songs/bands that i have never heard of before.

    Gosh, I hate that duo.
I hate their music but when it was a hit, I couldn't escape from it. It was played on the radio and on TV. And radio played it A LOT! I wanted to rip my ears off whenever I heard that song or band.
    Sorry.

yeah. amusing, is it not? that's looking at the musical side of death metal and not the lyrical side.

Oh, yea, scratch that...I don't listen to extreme rap (by that I mean the really violent ones that you only hear when you're passing through ghettos) nor heavy metal.

    "Send Her My Love" --Journey

I have discovered that it is not the type of music but the connection it makes with you that makes it good. For example, game music. Don't ever recomend you freinds listen to your favorite game soundtrack because they won't like it. The reason you like it is because of the subconscious feelings it brings. If they say they like it they are most likely lieing.

Thus, you can learn alot about someone based on the music they listen too.

Ha, I spent so long on this one that the next song came on...

    "Johnny B. Goode" --Chuck Berry

    go, Johnny go, go...

ok, I just realized that my previous post in this thread has disappeared for no apparent reason... so what I already said once (or something close to it...)

that's cool. I don't mind screaming in music, but in my opinion, it's definitely possible to overdo it, and some bands definitely do.

Fragments Of Faith by Lacuna Coil. I'm listening to them for the first time and really loving them.

    "Flower" - Moby

I listen to some classical rock like: ACDC, Cinderella, etc. Is that heavy metal? I don't think it is but they do scream often.

    Martha Tilston - Space.

It's folk music which is not normally my cup-of-tea but she has a truly beautiful voice and she's a local girl. Heres a utube link for a preview and if you like it here is a link to her site where you will find another link to get a free album of hers you can download. You will need to register though.

I do like the Blues tunes on iTune. I heard about one artist that day called Doyle Bramhall.
I bookmarked his homepage. All the rhythm strives to be the Blues one day you know.
