Here's another one that I like to share from my culture. It's a little piece called the 梁祝小提琴協奏曲 (the Butterfly Lover's Violin Concerto), and it is perhaps one of the most well known piece of composition known to the Chinese in Asia. It's about the Chinese legend of 梁祝 (Butterfly Lovers) of which the story bears similarities to what most westerns consider a pre-Shakespearean version of Romeo & Juilet.
The following video is an Erhu performance, which I think is the most enchanting due to the nature of the instrument.
