They have a strong sc-fi fantasy feel about them, like they are straight off the art work of a sci-fi or graphic novel. The first 2 pictures have a life like quality that makes me wonder what they were sluptured in, I at first thought clay, but the more I look at the first one the more stone like quality it seems to have.

mark models in clay, then molding and casting
he's an expert in making armatures that offer things like the hair in the first one(2 sets of pix)
notice the extra support wire going up into the hair?
It joins smaller wires that go out to the tips of the hair.

I like the way the eel wraps around the walker, caressing her leg-----then mark added her hand caressing the eel.
The leash was an ongoing problem which he solved after casting
