I am thinking that minimalist is beginning to hold great appeal for me because it makes routine tidying and cleaning so much easier. I have better things to do with my life than be a care-giver for chattel, lol...

I do like that bookcase, but that bed has some problems. When I get out of bed, I like to be able to sit and put my feet on the floor without my ass being lower than my knees. But it might have been fun when I was in my 20's.

Next, the lack of a TV and computer is very disturbing. I need those things all in one room. If I confine 90% of my living in the bedroom it makes the routine tidying and cleaning of the rest of the house much easier.

Perhaps something like this would better suit your needs?

I'm sure that this layout would accommodate a television.

This one is considered a 'teenager's workspace' but you strike me as being young at heart.

The bed works better, but I still need a TV and the computer is not situated to my liking, also when I get my own place again, I want a security camera system installed with a large screen for viewing all the cameras at once with large enough windows to see detail.

Definitely could fit a television in here also.

Is security an issue where you reside, Bad Robot?

I enjoy looking at various designs in order to gain perspective and new ideas. The chance of finding any image that completely satisfies anyone save the originator of the design would seem to be highly unlikely given that we are all unique persons.

This one is an interesting study of color, shape and texture.

What I can see looks workable. Hope the kitchen and bathroom are well situated and that's all I need.

Here we have a complete little suite by all that I observe.

here is a link to it...the woodwork is to die for..it is incredible...the gold leaf that has been restored is from the late 1800 early 1900's...the building is incredible and if you eve3r are here when I am Mainland...I will take you on a tour

I received this on "Opening Nights" from my spousy and for about 7 years from an individual who just called themselves "an admirer"..it was pretty awesome

My house in Hawai'i...today..taken by my beloved housekeeper....who is Adult Attention Deficit...so she teaches me patience probably from my kitchen window.....looking out at Emma's Trust land and Kohala...the oldest volcano on the island....going home.....in the morning!
