The eye of ra is an interesting symbol.
For anyone who is interested in "airflow dynamics", the eye of ra, an egyptian symbol presumably of winged sustained flight (as it is always associated to the sky and wings, as it has been associated to), by interpretation, could be more air-flow dynamics related than we think.
The upper level of the symbol could be the streamed flow, the bottom obviously the turbulent flow leading to "lift".
Why though would the then neanderthals of Egypt take an interest in airflow dynamics of sustained flight?

A link to aerodynamics seems far stretched for a simple cartoon icon designed to the liking of a falcon's eye to represent sun or moon (right or left eye), but let's entertain the idea:
What you call "turbulent flow" (by the way, turbulence does not lead to lift), would be more appropriately likened to a startup vortex, which is indeed an indicator of lift. However, this vortex should be behind the airfoil (presumably the eye) connected to the trailing edge (corner of the eye), not underneath it. The flow underneath an airfoil is no less (rather more) streamlined than the flow over the upper surface.
In other words, if this is supposed to resemble "airflow dynamics" it's a pretty bad attempt. As a falcon's eye (or a chimera of falcon and human eye) it looks pretty neat, on the other hand.

Who wouldn't? Well, certainly not Neanderthals, who had long been extinct when this symbol was created. |

May this post end owing to my failure to properly describe airflow mechanics and the associated properly painted picture of the vectors involved in airflow lift. _________________ Does a theory of everything therefore need to be purely theoretical and only account for the known laws and forces in handling the improbability of fortune telling?

No..........
I still feel tipee-toe............

It's the eye of HORUS, which actually explains a lot of the ‘‘mysteries’’ you seem to find unsolvable, notably the idea of it being associated with wings and flight. Horus was a falcon-headed god, thus had wings, thus was able to fly—through the sky—and watch over Egypt.
You even point out the unlikelihood of your idea with your repeated use of the word ‘‘could.’’

Or, and this is far out there, the upper level of the symbol could be the top of an eye, the bottom obviously the bottom of the eye, leading to a full eye.

It was hardly more than 5000 years ago; homo sapiens had well since arrived.

‘‘Not eye,’’ said the cat. Seriously though, this suggestion is about as ridiculous as people who think the Windows operating system was predicted in the Bible. I'm surprised it isn't in pseudo-science yet.
