Hi I am ttyo888, I come to this forum to seek knowledge for some pieces of fiction that needed some science facts to back up it's seeming fantasy creatures or environments.
Anyone who is a bird expert can help me too |

Welcome. I used to know a lot about birds, but not the feathered kind. _________________ The Universe is not only weirder than we imagine it is weirder than we can imagine. J.B.S.Haldane. |

Ah, but wasn't it Plato who said that man is but a featherless biped, thus allowing denuded birds to be counted amongst humanity?
Welcome to the forum. I saw your thread in biology before I saw this one, so I've already given my (somewhat lengthy, haha) opinion. Though I'm afraid I'm not a bird expert. _________________ Man can will nothing unless he has first understood that he must count on no one but himself; that he is alone, abandoned on earth in the midst of his infinite responsibilities, without help, with no other aim than the one he sets himself, with no other destiny than the one he forges for himself on this earth.
