I wouldn't really call them thieves because they don't really force you to give your money. Further on, you have a decision and you often have time to take a look at the structure of the products.
An investment bank is a financial institution that raises capital, trades in securities and manages corporate mergers and acquisitions.
A private equity firm is an investment firm that makes investments in the private equity, i.e. an equity security publicly traded, of operating companies through a variety of loosely affiliated investment strategies including Leveraged Buyout, Venture Capital and Growth Capital.
I guess by equity firm, you meant private equity firm... |
