Is there any specification or limitation of western blotting for glycosylated proteins? special protocol etc....

Could any one help please?

i don't think so..that there will be any specification of western blotting
for glycosylated protein..western blotting can be used to detect modified form of proteins....like glycosylated and phosphorylated proteins....these proteins will be higher in molecular weight compared to that non-glycosylated proteins...thats it...so it moves slowly in gel...

I've run blots for polysaccharides, both lipo- and capsular; whole cell preps of bacteria. With a little imagination, westerns (or northerns for that matter) can pick up pretty much any antibody producing agent. Were you looking for something specifically ?
