Just and interesting picture I found. To me it looks like Derbyshire is not that bad off for flooding, but it depends were Derbyshire is, any comments? Is it really all the bad?

If I remember correctly the IPCC is suggesting a mean sea level rise of around one meter or so by 2100, which wouldn't be nearly as devastating as your map seems to indicate. Your map might be based on assuming the entire ice caps of Greenland and Antarctica melt, which as far as I know, is not predicted by the IPCC. In other words it might represent a possible but very unlikely scenario.

What's the source for the map?

A US Navy study on polar ice melting is due out soon, which should be interesting.

It was just from a blog, nothing special. Although I believe that looking at the worst case scenario makes us feel a little better; better start making houses in the countryside Neutral.
