I've often wondered why, in olden times, people use to use big brown paper bags to bring their groceries home in. Now however they use many smaller plastic bags that are far worse for the environment.

There is currently a big campaign in the shops and supermarkets (UK) to get people to re-use their bags or the alternative is to buy a bio-degradable carrier bag.

Which is great now they can bio-degrade!

The trouble is, many people use their old carrier bags to line their kitchen bins which they then dispose of in an un-biodegradable bin bag they put out for the bin men which then get's dumped en-masse in the landfills!

Err....doh!

So if they can make biodegradable carrier bags, why don't they make biodegradable bin bags?????

Sounds good. What are your raw materials?

Don't really expect a reply, as this looks like spam.
