I don't have a link, but I do have some thoughts...
Sometimes I see folks with tattoos and I can't make heads or tails of what the design is supposed to be. You have to stare at it a long time and be up close to finally figure it out. And it must be real annoying to always have people asking you what the hen your tattoo is supposed to be. So my suggestion is... keep the design simple so others can figure it out from a distance.
Think long and hard of where you want the tattoo, and how big the tattoo will be. I have one on my back and I never see it!
If I could do over, I would go with only black ink (no color). Something to think about....
All my tattoos are easily hidden by clothes. Something else to consider.
Be careful of what design you get. If you ever end up in prison, certain tattoos have definite meanings which could cause major problems (e.g., a shamrock, a spider web).
How will the tattoo age as you age? Another reason to choose a simpler design.
Tattoos on one's face are stupid. Sorry.
Cheers,

Mmm...i wonder where they could be??
I have a very small cross on my arm that i did with Indian Ink in art class at school.
I'm glad i stopped there though because my mate was a little more adventurous and tattoed boys names and UB40 all over her arms, i bet she regrets it now!
I'm going to have a lizard crawling up my ankle.
I've designed it myself. i love lizard!
I've done several designs for tattoos for friends. One was a dragon a pal had crawling up his back, looked well cool.
Another friend has got an eye on each bum cheek. That looks ridiculous, but he was in the army!
Get an artistic friend to design you one, but don't let the tattoo shop have a copy! Then you know you're tattoo will be unique! _________________ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
