I think you mean chameleon.

And no, it would cost too much. Better spend that money equipping a second, conventional, soldier buddy.

Although, at the moment, I agree with pong. The technology for such things is being developed, so I think we will see it in future. At least for the disguising of larger, more easily covered objects like tanks, tents and the like. The technology required to do it in a wearable format will come last I think, due to technical difficulty.

Yes, we could genetically combine all of our soldiers with chameleons and there you go. Kidding...

It would be hard to do so. You would need either very advanced technology or a living biological structure that acts as a chameleon...

Not only that but imaging technolgy and other forms of detection systems such as advanced forms of infrared, radar, and electronic sensering would make such forms totally useless against a country with any moderate to large military budget, unless they also developed ways to defeat these systems within the suits and covering also. With these advanced forms of imaging and detecting technologys becoming cheaper more advanced and easier to come by it will proably become inpractical.

Besides me no want to look like lizard, maybe a penquin though I like penquins they're awsome.... with rockets straped to thier backs. Waddel, Waddel, Waddel, Boom! Very Happy Twisted Evil Very Happy
