Ok, my class is doing a pop bottle rocket project and I was wondering how much weight, water, and pressure (must be 1 to 60 psi) does it need to reach the maximum time in air. Also the size of the parachute and length of a string to hold the parachute.
This project consist of a 2-liter bottle to hold the water, a piece of another 2-liter bottle to store the parachute, a parachute, a cone, 2-4 tails. Our objective is to launch the rocket and the longest airborne wins.

What he means to say is that we know how to build it but it's a competition against other students and we are wondering how to "jazz" it up so we can win. |

Can you get some liquid carbon dioxide and mix it with the water? Or is that cheating?

I'm sure we could get it in there...
Thanks. Nothing like carbon if you want an explosion. That's why you never shake a pop can. _________________ A biophysicist talks physics to the biologists and biology to the physicists, but then he meets another biophysicist, they just discuss women.
