As my idea is still in the idea phase so I shall not elaborate but for my device, instead of using movement which generates friction, I plan to use light particles which are supposedly not to have mass.

I'll update if anything new occurs. Smile

It is only with the utmost exertion that I am able to constrain my excitement at the prospect.

If it has no moving parts, of course perpetual motion might be a difficulty. Like Ophi, I am all agog.

As I cannot see your faces I don't know if that is sarcasm but I shall take it as not, so thank you. I am hoping to purchase some of the needed parts tonight. The device is simple so it should not require many parts, therefore I should be able to start soon.

Sunshine, I agree. I'm not truly sure if it is perpetual "motion" but if all goes to plan it will create energy from light particles which have no mass.

Very Happy

I'll be sure to. First I need to see if it works though Very Happy . Many have tried and all have failed. It's hard to see what makes me any different.

I have seen that brought up before. If it works then I would love to see more of it.

I know what that is and my device is not a cell of any sort

It was sarcasm. Any claims to perpeptual motion made by an anonymous indiivdual on the internet will always be greeted with sarcasm by me.
Later you seem to vacillate as to whether or not it is a perpetual motion device. In that case you may have come up with something interesting, though it sounds more like photovoltaic cell, as bit4bit suggested. If that is the case - and your version works - I shall move this out of pseudoscience.

It's not perpetual motion or a cell. I was incorrect in the naming of this thread. It cannot be defined in a genre and I don't want to say anything about it!

If you don't want to say anything about it then why did you post a thread about it?
