If you were trying to get a confession from someone you suspected was guilty...
or perhaps the person you were interrogating knew more than they were letting on (although they themselves might not be guilty),
what are the best ways to interrogate this person? |

Well, mental torture works prety good I think. physical torture as well, but those methods aren't for cops if thats what you were thinking about. _________________ I have tried to find one unselfish lineament in the bible, but i find only selfdeception and threatchery

I think one thing to do is to ask open-ended questions as opposed to "yes/no" questions.... _________________ "... the polhode rolls without slipping on the herpolhode lying in the invariable plane."

About my avatar: This is a smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) simulation of the merger of two galaxies. The code was written by Volker Springel of the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics at Garching Germany. This simulation uses 20,000 disk particles (stars) and 40,000 halo particles (dark matter) per galaxy. The three views are, from left to right, the x-y plane, x-z plane, and y-z plane. |

make it worth their while to give you the information. sometimes a reduced sentence might work, others might be stubborn and need a few hours in a stress position before they'll decide it's not worth holding back.
i guess if you try to convince them that you know they're lying then they might slip you a bit of truth. |
