Oh great that five legged goat's back. Here:
Thats the good one for you.
Seriously dmabus what is your point behind this? Do you feel scientists are a good medium to express these notions and ideas of God and devils? Does this derive from self conflict or the inability to understand other people?
Whatever the reason this post has no meaning and I believe that within 24 hours it will be trashed. _________________ "Victory is in trying. Defeat is in not". - SVRDW. |

Although I was tempted to move this from the philosophy to the pseudo-science section, I do not feel it owes up to those standards. As for insulting James Randi/Richard Dawkins - that's as much out of line as insulting members here is.
Address their arguments, call them silly if you must - but you will be held accountable for your words here. _________________

No one said science was the "MOST IMPORTANT thing" or had anything to do with "TRUTH."
The simple fact is that you would be living in a cave without science. Got it? |

You have to admit (Q), that religion did serve wars which did accelerate technology by at least a few centuries.
Need evidence wars accelerate tech? Look at WWI and WWII, the Cold War.... _________________ "Victory is in trying. Defeat is in not". - SVRDW. |

One of the many reasons I frequent this and other forums is that it exposes me to the thought processes of quite diverse intellects. Living in an environment of nice, conventional, normal people I would never have the chance to meet a cognitively challenged, anally retentive, hysteria prone, self deluded individuals such as dmabus. I read a substantial part of the link offered by him in the opening post and found it to be an incoherent, incohate concatenation of apoplectic nonsense. Well done dmabus - a fascinating read. _________________ The Universe is not only weirder than we imagine it is weirder than we can imagine. J.B.S.Haldane. |

I quickly scanned the link, and only saw a bunch of stuff about Nostradamus. Not sure what it had to do with Randi.
