"A number of cells together is a tissue
Why is a number of sperm not a tissue?"
It's a question on my homework and I don't have a clue.
Help?

Sperm don't associate with other sperm through adhesion molecules. I never took anatomy or histology so that's my best guess lol.

group of cells working together inside an organ to perform a similar fnction is called tissue..but sperm is not like that...sperm is monoploid in status...and it is a single cell not connected with other cells as cells in tissue
