These are beads that are effected by Ultra Violet rays. They are pretty cool. I am sure they have had similar things in the past. I just thought that these were an interesting form of the phenomena.
Through a double pane glass window the sun did not effect the beads quickly. With time they did slightly effect them. But most of the effect was blocked.
I filmed them on Easter and gave them to my niece. She really liked them. As long as they do not turn her colors, I should be alright.

This is the link to the fellow I bought the beads from, and what he has for sale and to his personal information.

I have purchased sodium acetate from him, niobium magnets. All kinds of chemicals. I was always pleased.

| Yeah, so what? Well, I cannot watch this video, because I'm running Linux. But it is well known, that simple window glass efficiently blocks UV radiation. |

The car window glass in direct sunlight did not.

Then this glass is different. It depends on its purity and the content of trace elements. You can modify the transparency of glass for certain wavelengths with the recipe. |

Okay, I watched the video. This phenomenon is called fluorescence. The beads are made of (or contain) stuff that react on UV radiation, alright. This material has the ability to re-emit the absorbed radiation with a different wavelength.

It has plastic in it. The front window glass. The plastic may not accelerate the UV back up to safe ambient radiation speeds. And the thinner glass on either side may not have the depth to do it.
The plastic beads may also slow down ambient radiation.
