I consider antifur protests, philosopy gone wrong, a biproduct of extravagant society, yet we each day kills animals for their meat.
This ill mentallity makes me fear of the future, just 100 years from now I'm sure the same people are afraid to whipe their own butt, and wants machines to do it.

My cynically side are prone to make such people forced into mental instituations, and 'cured' for their illness.

Can you kill and skin a cat in public? If not, explain why.

The anti-fur people see why quite lucidly. Technically, they are correct on several counts. The normal view of animal welfare though is cowardly and contradictory... technically, this is "sane". Correct, rational, good, and sane are not always interchangeable.

It's desensitizing. That is, it makes people less conscious and ultimately less civil. Or at least that's the theory. I don't know how the evidence supports/contradicts this.

Our forefathers has worn fur in wintertimes, and been considerd civil. The 1 has NOTHING to do with the other.
Priest are considerd civil, yet we'r in recent years observed many pedofiles amongst them. Senators, presidents, judges ..etc are considerd civil, yet many have emberressing cases ..."i'm not a crook"

HexHammer, I can't help but wonder why you didn't answer my question. It's not a rhetorical question. I want you to think about why there is a right answer to it.

It's a poor question, and the answer is obvious, and the reason that you ask is tragic.

It would traumatize people, violate any moral codex, aswell as laws of anmial cruelty ..etc, specially since it would have no purpose.

I'll spare you my personal oppinion about you and the nature of the question itself.

I do actually agree with these statements. There are some very useful probes, communications, and reactions going on here, beyond the import of a single skinned cat. And what actually works for society is more important than what is rationally correct.

Yes, the line of thought is both rational and insane. I believe you can resolve this contradiction head-on, better than dancing around it all your life and talking nonsense as in your opening post.

Man has worn fur for over 100k years, and suddenly a bunch of anal people whine and scream about it. That is quite irrational imo, contrary to your poor anology. As I said it's tragic.

Please provide evidence that those who protest against the use of fur are 'anal'. (It might be helpful if you shared your sense of the word 'anal' in this context.)

Please provide a number of references that demonstrate unequivocally that the protesters are 'whining and screaming', rather than communicating their viewpoint in a vigorous and robust manner.

For much of the last 100,000 years humans have engaged in rape, murder and subjugation of the weak. Would you therefore argue that those of us vocally opposed to rape, murder and the subjugation of the weak are 'whining and screaming'. If you would not argue in this way what is your justification for using that argument in relation to fur?

Further are you able to explain what is irrational about taking a position that killing mammals for ornamental purposes is morally flawed?
Please explain the nature of the 'tragedy'. i.e. what makes this situation 'tragic'. Or were you just being loose in your use of the English language?

Hi.
I have 2 beautifull longhair cats, and that hair everywhere was a real headache. So here are some tips i used to get rid of it and keep my home clean=)

1.Brushing your cat regularly helps take care of the cat hair problem before it becomes a problem.

2. High quality cat food helps reduce shedding.A cat’s skin and coat are easily affected by the animal’s diet, so a high quality cat food can make your cat’s skin less dry and therefore less prone to excess shedding.

3.Sweeping or vacuuming regularly is the best way to reduce cat hair in your home.Once the hair leaves the cat, the best way to rid yourself of it is with a vacuum cleaner, a broom, and a dust rag.

4.A clothes dryer can remove a lot of cat hair from your clothes and blankets.Whenever you wash your clothes or blankets, put them in the dryer if the care instructions permit it.

5.A lint brush is good for spot-removing cat hair from furniture and clothes.Between laundry days and vacuuming days, you can spot-remove cat hair from clothes and furniture using either a specially-designed tool or a household object adapted to remove hair.

More tips You can find on my page http://removepethair.blogspot.com/2010/01/getting-rid-of-cat-hair.html
