So, which is best between Intel’s Core 2 Duo's and the X2 processors from AMD? My computer store guy is a big AMD fan and recommends it because of alleged superior graphics abilities and value for money. What do you think?

I would go for the intel, partly because I always have, and partly because they've released the new 45nm processors, which are more efficient and better for overclocking....the prices are reasonably good too.
