Hi there,

I'm doing an investigation for chemistry and I have a question about ammonium ferric citrate. Does ammonium ferric citrate reduce to ammonium ferrous citrate, or iron (iii) to iron (ii)? If so, what could be the conditions for this happening?

Many thanks

Ryan

True. The compound is reduced merely by exposure to light.
