Ever since high school, in the later years I've appreciated the sciences, but so many people don't. I didn't even enjoy Chemistry until early last year actually...

My sister hasn't started learning Chemistry yet, she's 11 and I asked her if she wanted to learn some and she said "No it's boring I don't like Chemistry." Which for me really sums up a minority of young peoples' attitudes towards STEM.

A lot of young people are opting for things like media degrees, which is fine to an extent, but it seems like a little bit of an easy option, in my opinion, as it's such a fun subject, but realistically for most promises very few job prospects.

STEM! Smile
