the 22nd of december 2012 falls on a saturday - if you're really going to work on a saturday then you're either mighty keen, you're in deep shit with the boss, or you're self-employed _________________ if you find this place too crowded or too confrontational, how about trying Philosophorum,

Hopefully by this very day the last of these moronic numbnuts predicting that The Universe/The life as we know it/the rest will END/change forever/convert to peanut butter will die a horrible slow and painful death.
Just because by setting some arbitrary point in time as the refrence for our calendar and the fact that some numbers appear somewhat privileged to those with just under half a brain these pea-brains are tempted to predict the EXTRAORDINARY!!!!!! HEAR YE, HEAR YE............
What a load of bull**** and what an enormous wast of time and energy |

Thanks. |

A friend told me that the reversal of the poles with erase our memory. He is pretty into science, and is serious in school and his work, but I can't imagine that actually happening. Is there any truth in what he said? _________________ Forget all that you know, achievements can only be accomplished by starting from nothing and selectively applying facts that are purely objective and absolutely necessary. |

The reversal does not happen over night, only relatively fast in geological terms. So even if memory does have some magnetic component to it (doubt it), we should all be ok. _________________ "Gullibility kills" - Carl Sagan |

Of course, the correct end of the world date doesn't come for another twelve hundred and two years. This is based on the scientific certainty that the year will be 3...2...1...0. |

Global genocide, mass hysteria, and a shit load of aliens, me hoping to have that day off (damn terrorists need to take a break for a while or just die) to get some down time with whatever end of the world video game they got out then (HALO 5) (DOOM 12). Because that's about as close to the end of the world as I think any will get.
But of course after this time frame. Someone is going to claim miss calculation and then come up with some other half-ass theory with a date involving the end of the world.
But my pesonnal guess would be 2008 April 20. Will the world end, will Mac be in deep shit with his boss? Stay tuned for futher updates about 4 years in the future.
